At Artemis Women's Rights MTÜ, we are dedicated to empowering women, promoting education, and fostering equal opportunities for all. Our team consists of passionate and skilled individuals who bring diverse experiences and expertise to our mission.
Our President: Kadri Tarus
Kadri Tarus is a dynamic leader with a diverse professional background. He has worked as a dance instructor, step designer, hairdresser, make-up artist, and yoga instructor, gaining extensive experience in both artistic and wellness fields. His journey includes working with renowned dance schools and salons such as Dance Act Tansu Studio, Dance Factory, and Pikk 40 Ilusalong. Kadri studied professional make-up artistry at the International Make Up Center Estonia and trained in dance at Dance Act College. Additionally, he pursued yoga instructor certification at Byron Yoga Center and is currently an active yoga instructor.
Beyond his professional career, Kadri has played a leadership role in various Erasmus+ projects focused on women's rights, employment, and entrepreneurship. His strong communication skills, time management, problem-solving abilities, and experience in multicultural environments make him an inspiring figure within our organization.
Our Key Personnel: Martin Teras
Martin Teras is a dedicated yoga instructor and an integral part of our team. He has participated as a speaker at conferences and seminars on topics such as employee rights, project management, role models, and leadership evolution. With a C1 level of English and a strong Erasmus+ background, he has been involved in projects related to refugee women, women’s employment, sports, and health. Additionally, Martin honed his skills in project design through participation in an Erasmus+ project writing camp.
With a strong passion for arts, sports, and multicultural interactions, Martin brings a unique blend of confidence, discipline, and problem-solving abilities to our organization. His enthusiasm for learning and teaching ensures that participants in our programs feel supported and engaged.
Our Key Personnel: Handicrafts & Entrepreneurship Specialist
Another invaluable member of our team is a Business Administration graduate who has successfully combined her academic background with a passion for handicrafts and entrepreneurship. During her university years, she enhanced her skills in weaving, rope-making, and coppersmithing, later earning a C1-level English certificate.
After working in her field, she transitioned into entrepreneurship, selling handmade crafts through online marketplaces and collaborating with various e-commerce platforms. She has played a key role in encouraging women to explore entrepreneurship and has worked as a trainer in local municipal handicraft programs. Although she is new to Erasmus+ projects, her enthusiasm for learning and teaching will contribute significantly to our initiatives.

At Artemis Women's Power Association, we are dedicated to combating all forms of violence and discrimination against women while advocating for gender equality. Our mission is to empower women socially, economically, and politically through education, advocacy, and capacity-building initiatives.
We focus on key areas such as legal and social protection, access to justice, women's rights advocacy, education, health, and vocational training for economic empowerment. Beyond our core mission, we actively promote democracy, civil society engagement, and environmental sustainability.
Through national and international collaborations, research, awareness campaigns, and educational programs, we strive to create a just, equal, and peaceful society where women can participate freely and equally in all aspects of life.
